![]() Well, not quite nothingness as destroyed enemies will drop gems which, as long as you are not shooting, will be drawn to you if you’re close enough. The premise will sound familiar: it’s a 2D adventure in which you’re tasked to fight off swarms of monsters that appear over time by either stomping on their heads enough times like an old-school plumber, or by hitting them with enough beams from your weapon that they disintegrate into nothingness. In that game, 16 bit motorcycle races were won with fists and chains in a refreshingly violent take on the genre which usually featured mushrooms for power ups. Back to the ninetiesįirst time players of Road Redemption could be forgiven for thinking they were playing a HD remake of the 90s Sega hit Road Rash. Players battle it out for first places with various weapons in a spiritual successor to the famous Mega Drive cult classic. ![]() Road Redemption is an arcade style racing game with a violent twist.
